Here, you will find important information regarding the use of our facilities, event bookings, and participation guidelines. Please review these terms carefully to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors.

SEC Facility Hire Terms & Conditions

General Conditions of Use

  • The front gates are open from 8 am - 6 pm each day.
  • Arenas are available for bookings from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm each day, subject to availability.
  • There are NO STABLES available during COVID restrictions
  • On occasion, the SEC (or sections thereof) will be closed. This will be advertised on the SEC booking system and social media.
  • The facilities can only be used with a valid booking. The SEC reserves the right to fine or ban people found to be using the facilities without a booking.
  • All bookings MUST be made in the correct name of the person attending as per COVID Safety Plan Rules
  • Hay is permitted at the SEC but excess hay on the ground must be placed in the manure bunkers provided upon departure.
  • Dogs must be kept on a lead and be under the owner's control at all times whilst on the SEC grounds. Owner's with their dogs off leads will be asked to leave the grounds immediately if they cannot restrain their dogs.
  • Users must observe the speed limit of 20 km/h at all times whilst on the SEC Grounds. Pedestrians and horses have right of way at all times.
  • Power leads must not be on the ground or over roadways or pathways. Unsafe use of power leads will be removed without notice.
  • Riding horses bareback and/or unbridled is prohibited.
  • Users are not permitted to ride or handle a horse if they have consumed any alcohol or drugs.
  • Smoking is not permitted on the facility.
  • Stallion owners must abide by the EA Stallion Safe Practice Policy at all times. Stallions are not to be left unattended at ay time.
  • Users must comply with all venue signage and staff instructions.
