Julie Millett has been a dedicated contributor to equestrian sport in Western Australia over 15 years, playing a pivotal role in the success of the Zamia Dressage series. Her outstanding commitment to organising and promoting the event has ensured its smooth operation, allowing riders and officials to enjoy a well-coordinated and professional competition experience.
Julie’s attention to detail and strong IT skills have been instrumental in managing rider schedules, setting up tablets for writers and judges, coordinating club members for duties, and overseeing key logistics such as arranging embroidered rugs and even ensuring horses receive their well-earned carrots. Her behind-the-scenes efforts create an event that runs seamlessly and efficiently.
Beyond her organisational abilities, Julie brings warmth and positivity to the sport, always greeting challenges with a smile and laughter. Her dedication and enthusiasm make her an invaluable member of the equestrian community, and she is truly deserving of the Horseland WA Volunteer of the Month award.
