Welcome aboard, Nicole Kopke!

Equestrian WA is delighted to introduce Nicole Kopke, our Events and Bookings Coordinator. Originally from South Africa, Nicole's passion for horses began with her grandfather, who was a retired jockey.

She rode 2 horses up the grades to compete at Junior A grade level.

After moving to the UK and building a successful career in web design and marketing, Nicole and her husband travelled extensively before relocating to Australia in 2008.

While raising her two daughters, Nicole continued her web design work from home.

In 2021, she bought Eliva Viking and, with her family's encouragement, returned to riding and competing, discovering new friendships in the equestrian community.

Nicole was drawn to the Events and Bookings Coordinator role to rejoin a corporate team after 16 years of working from home. "The opportunity to engage more with the equestrian community, be part of a corporate team and further develop my skills in a different role excited me," she shares.

Nicole's hobbies include nature photography, travelling, and exploring different places. Nicole brings strong interpersonal and technical skills along with effective communication to Equestrian WA.

She is eager to contribute to the exciting developments at the State Equestrian Centre and provide an outstanding venue for the equestrian community.
