That's 18 horses/ponies in total and some of our riders who are not taking mounts. We believe they will do a great job representing WA and will be highly competitive.
This year, as always, it is a massive job getting our team organized and to the National Competition. I would like to thank my Committee for all there efforts over the past 12 months which gets us to this, - the pointy end of the competition year. Special mention goes out to Neryl Simmons, Oscar Graetz and the Graetz family for their valuable help in raising some extra funds for the team and organizing the uniforms; Marlene Kinder who has worked quietly away for many months sewing garlands for Horse of the Year and designing banners for the team's stable doors; Jan McQueen for her support with photographs for the banners; and Dee Morley for her kind donations of supplies for the team marquee.
Our major Sponsor Ramsay's Horse Transport have been more generous than ever this year, and have provided us with not only subsidized transport for the team travel, but also a free bay on the truck for our gear and a marquee and hire items to make our stay at Werribee even more enjoyable than ever before. Please make sure you support Ramsay's and their team when ever you can as they have been long term sponsors of the WA Show Horse Team.
Watch this space for Results!"
