Equestrian WA Welcomes Brendan Parker as New CEO

The Board of Equestrian Western Australia (EWA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Brendan Parker as Chief Executive Officer, effective 11 March 2025.

EWA Chair Anne Wilkins said Brendan's appointment followed a thorough executive search and selection process, with a highly competitive field of candidates.

"Brendan brings extensive leadership experience across sport, community engagement, and not-for-profit sectors. His background in sports administration, coupled with his strategic management expertise, makes him an ideal choice to lead EWA into its next chapter," Anne said.

"With a strong track record in stakeholder engagement, fundraising, and program development, Brendan has successfully led organisations in driving participation and community impact. His leadership will be invaluable in strengthening equestrian sport in WA and enhancing opportunities for our members."

Brendan’s career spans over two decades in leadership roles, including CEO and senior executive positions with the AFL NT, World Vision, Therapy Focus, and most recently, 4U Foundation, where he has been instrumental in delivering social investment programs for communities.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Brendan said: "I’m excited to be joining Equestrian WA and about the opportunity to work with the board, staff, members, and the broader equestrian community. EWA has a strong foundation, and I look forward to building on that to support growth, participation, and sustainability across the sport."

Brendan will commence in the role on 11 March 2025.
