Saddles Plus-EWA Interschool State Championships 2023

Equestrian WA is delighted to announce the 2023 Saddles Plus Interschool State Championships will take place between Wednesday 19 April and Saturday 22 April.

The EWA State Interschools Championship allows school-aged children to represent their schools in a sport that is not offered in the education system.

The Championships are used as a selection event for the National Championships held on the east coast each year.

The Interschool Championships is held over four days and has a fantastic festival atmosphere, with most competitors and their families camping on-site at the SEC for the duration of the event.

The involvement of entire families, including parents, siblings and grandparents, is a highlight of the event.

In 2022, we had the largest attendance since the inception of the event with 686 entries over the three days, featuring participants from all over the state – ranging from Geraldton to Denmark.

We also hold an Interschools Awards Night separate to the competitive event, with further family members and friends present to see their loved ones receive awards.
