Congratulations Jade Edwards, Volunteer of the Month!

Jade Edwards has been an outstanding ambassador for equestrian sport in Western Australia, with a particular focus on Eventing. Her dedication and tireless efforts have significantly contributed to the success of the sport, making her a deserving recipient of the Horseland WA Volunteer of the Month award.

Jade's involvement spans multiple committees, where she has played a crucial role in organising and bringing together people and events for the WA equestrian community. Her recent efforts in successfully running and competing in some of the larger One Day Event (ODE) competitions in WA highlight her exceptional commitment. Beyond competing, Jade has volunteered countless hours towards preparing programs, securing sponsors, and managing the grounds and jumps, ensuring that every aspect of the event is meticulously planned and executed.

Remarkably, Jade achieves all of this while often caring for her toddler, demonstrating her incredible ability to balance family and her passion for equestrian sport. Whether it's in the lead-up to an event or on competition day, Jade is always there—competing herself, helping others, and making a substantial impact on the community. Her contributions have not only elevated the standard of Eventing in WA but have also inspired many within the equestrian community.
