The Equestrian WA Show Horse Committee is pleased to announce a partnership with the Australian Hunter Horse Association for 2018. The Australian Hunter Horse Association will be offering a WA Hi-Point Award to AHHA members competing at the EWA Autumn Pageant and EWA Winter Gala, with a presentation ceremony to be held at EWA Horse of the Year in September.
Criteria
- Riders must be financial members of AHHA at the time of competing.
- Riders and owners must be financial members of EWA at the time of competing.
- Members must complete and submit an AHHA WA Hi-Point Award nomination form which identifies the horse/pony to accumulate points. These can be requested after processing of membership application.
- AHHA reserve the right to add further criteria to decide a tie.
Points
Points will be accumulated for each horse/pony from the Autumn Pageant and Winter Gala events in Open Show Hunter height and weight classes, Championships and Supremes as follows:
- 1st – 3 points
- 2nd – 2 points
- 3rd – 1 point
- Champion – 5 points
- Reserve/1st Runner Up – 3 points
- Supreme – 3 points
In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided in the following order:
- Champion winner at Autumn Pageant
- Supreme winner at Autumn Pageant
- Champion winner at Winter Gala
- Supreme winner at Winter Gala
No WA Hi-Point Award nomination form submitted = No points allocation.
