The State Equestrian Centre, located in Brigadoon, has been the heart of equestrian sport in Western Australia since 1985. With its rich history and vital role in supporting a variety of equestrian disciplines, the facility’s upgrade is necessary to meet the evolving needs of the sport, both now and into the future.

The aim is to have the final business case developed by April 2025, with recommendations presented to the Minister of Sport for consideration; providing a clear roadmap for the redevelopment and future success of the SEC.

The SEC Infrastructure Upgrade Business Case is part of Equestrian WA’s broader vision to ensure the centre remains a high-performance facility that supports riders, hosts prestigious events, and meets modern standards. The work led by Savills Australia will lay the foundation for future government and private sector investment in the centre's redevelopment.

We warmly welcome Savills Australia to the Western Australian equestrian community and look forward to a successful partnership as we shape the future of this beloved facility.

EWA would like to thank the WA State Government through the Department of Local Government, Sports and Cultural Industries for their support in funding this business case.
