L'VARSS

L’varss, a chestnut mare by Irish stallion Hala Bek, never made it to the racetrack. Bred in Western Australia, she initially served as a broodmare before being started as a low-level eventer and dressage mount. In 2021, Imogen Freeman found L’varss, affectionately known as Daisy, while searching for a larger horse to advance her riding career. Daisy’s strong basics in dressage made her the perfect match for Imogen.

Since beginning their partnership, Imogen and Daisy have established themselves as a competitive pair in the dressage arena. Competing at the elementary level, they have achieved consistent scores, including impressive performances at the Equestrian WA Interschool State Championships, where they earned 65.875% and 64.39%. Their most recent achievement includes placing 1st in Elementary at the Busselton Autumn Dressage Championship.

Imogen describes Daisy as a willing and hardworking mare who demands precision from her rider. Their training is focused on perfecting flying changes, with the short-term goal of improving consistency and reliability. In the long run, Imogen hopes to move Daisy up to medium-level dressage, confident in the mare’s capabilities.

This promising partnership continues to grow, with Daisy and Imogen achieving success and setting their sights on even higher levels in the dressage world.
