NEW EWA Equine Welfare Working Group

We are thrilled to introduce our new Equine Welfare Working Group, a dedicated team committed to the health and well-being of our equine partners. This group, composed of experts and representatives from various disciplines, aims to ensure that EWA is proactive and genuinely cares for the horses that engage in our sports. The members of the group are:

  • Rory Hovell: EWA Board Representative
  • Lucy Atty: Appointed Member
  • Warwick Vale: Appointed Member
  • Debbie King: Appointed Member (Chair)
  • Gail Simms: Coaching Representative
  • Simon Barrey: Jumping Representative
  • Vaz Mclaughlan: Eventing Representative
  • Liz Wakely Dawes: Dressage Representative
  • Kym Brajkovich: Show Horse Representative

The Equine Welfare Working Group recently held their second meeting this month, continuing their important work to enhance and ensure the welfare of horses across all disciplines. The group is focused on the education and upholding the standards of equine care within our community.
